Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business. You will assist customers in-store and over the phone, perform DIY services like battery installations and wiper changes, and help manage inventory and store standards.

This role requires basic automotive knowledge and good communication skills. The position can be part-time or full-time, with safety-conscious operations and a focus on customer service.

Qualifications

• Basic driving and navigation ability.
• Ability to use the delivery board system.
• Friendly communication and relationship building with customers.
• Ability to locate and stock parts efficiently.
• Experience operating inventory, POS and parts lookup systems.
• Knowledge of basic automotive systems and DIY services.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers via in-store and phone interactions.
• Meet personal sales goals and support store targets.
• Deliver DIY services such as battery installs and wiper changes.
• Maintain store inventory, cleanliness and back stock processes.
• Safely handle and deliver parts to customers as required.
