Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires basic store systems knowledge, automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.

The position can be part-time or full-time. You will assist customers in-store and over the phone, perform DIY services, maintain inventory, and ensure store standards. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.
• English required; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
