Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and hit sales/service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers.

The position can be part-time or full-time. You will assist customers in-store and by phone, provide DIY services, and help maintain inventory and store standards. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus) and communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards; inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot; general stocking.
