Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry‑level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

It can be part‑time or full‑time with opportunities in battery installation and DIY services. The successful candidate will have strong customer service, basic math, and the ability to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.
• Ability to use store systems including POS, inventory, and parts lookup.
• Basic automotive knowledge to assist customers with DIY services.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store meet sales targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
• Keep store clean and organized; stock shelves and back stock.
