Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help meet sales and service objectives. The role requires basic knowledge of store systems, automotive systems, and parts, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.

This position can be part time or full time. Primary duties include delivering excellent selling experiences to DIY customers, achieving personal and store sales goals, performing DIY services such as battery

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in retail
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends
• Basic knowledge of store systems and inventory
• Spanish language skills a plus
• Fleet safety certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking and back stock
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
