Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson for our DIY-focused team. This entry-level role supports DIY customers in-store and by phone, helping to achieve sales and service goals while offering battery installations, wiper replacements, and related services.

The role requires basic automotive knowledge, inventory handling, and proficient use of store systems. Flexibility to work various shifts is needed, with emphasis on customer service excellence and accurate parts lookup.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
• Use basic math accurately to perform measurements and calculations
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
• Customer service and sales skills to provide a great DIY customer experience

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store meet overall targets
• Perform DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs
• Maintain inventory and store standards, complete cycle counts and back stock tasks
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
• Operate POS and parts lookup systems
