Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales/service objectives. You’ll use store systems and basic automotive knowledge to source parts, manage inventory, and assist customers in-store and by phone.

Roles can be part time or full time; safety certifications are preferred. Expect responsibilities across sales, service tasks, and light delivery while maintaining clean, organized store operations.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus; communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals and parts catalogs.
• Use basic math for transactions and pricing.
• Able to work varied days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its targets
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Handle inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
