Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts, and the ability to source from multiple channels.

It is an entry-level, potentially full-time position with opportunities to perform battery installations and other services. The role emphasizes customer service, inventory discipline, and safe operation of company procedures.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic knowledge of store systems and automotive parts.
• Ability to source from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness and general stocking; deliver parts as needed.
