Job summary

Friendsofkerhonkson is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support our DIY department. You will assist customers in-store and by phone, perform basic battery tests and wiper installations, and help maintain inventory and store standards.

The role requires clear communication in English (Spanish a plus), basic math, and proficiency with POS and inventory systems. Prior retail sales experience is helpful, but training is provided to reach personal and store sales goals.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to use inventory and store equipment systems.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
