Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business, assist customers in-store and over the phone, and help achieve sales objectives.

The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and the ability to source parts from multiple channels. Responsibilities include delivering DIY services such as battery installation and wiper replacements, maintaining inventory accuracy, and delivering parts to customers when needed.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.
• Basic knowledge of store systems and automotive parts.
• Ability to source from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and over the phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help the store reach its sales targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation, testing, and wiper installations.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
