Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales and service objectives. You will help customers in-store and over the phone, perform basic auto part knowledge, and provide DIY services such as battery installs and wiper replacements.

The role can be part-time or full-time, with emphasis on safety, inventory control, and delivering Parts lookup and POS support to customers. Training is provided for basic store operations.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences
• Speak and write English; communication with customers, peers and management
• Ability to use store systems and basic math for transactions and stocking

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store Cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking and back stock
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
