Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business. You will assist customers in-store and by phone, perform basic auto services, and maintain inventory and store standards. This role may be part-time or full-time, with safety certifications preferred.

The position requires basic driving, ability to source parts, and strong communication to deliver excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Basic math skills and ability to perform quick, accurate calculations.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Basic driving and navigation abilities.
• Ability to locate and stock parts and operate inventory systems.
• Familiarity with safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Meet personal sales goals and help store achieve overall targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installation.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Oversee inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
