Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business, helping customers with basic automotive knowledge and part lookups while driving store sales.

The role involves in-store and phone interactions, performing services such as battery installations and wiper replacements, and maintaining inventory accuracy. You will assist customers, source parts from stores, hubs, and external suppliers, and support daily operations.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• English language proficiency with clear communication.
• Basic automotive parts knowledge and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
