Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and ability to source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.

Position can be part-time or full-time with fleet safety certification preferred. The role involves providing excellent customer service, meeting sales goals, performing DIY services, managing inventory, and ensuring store standards are

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness and stocking including truck stocking and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
