Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business, assist customers, and achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and the ability to source from multiple channels.

The position can be part-time or full-time, with opportunities to perform DIY services, manage inventory tasks, and deliver parts to customers as needed. English literacy is essential; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive and navigate reliably.
• Ability to use delivery board systems for orders.
• Friendly communication with customers and teammates.
• Ability to locate and stock parts efficiently.
• Operate inventory systems and store equipment.
• Handle POS and parts lookup systems competently.
• English speaking; Spanish helpful.
• Use basic math in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent DIY customer service in-store and over the phone.
• Hit personal sales goals and support store sales targets.
• Perform DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs).
• Maintain product and operational standards; manage inventory tasks.
• Handle stock, cycle counts, back stock, and store cleanliness.
• Safely deliver parts to customers when needed.
