Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales/service objectives in a retail setting. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and the ability to source parts from multiple channels.

The position can be part time or full time, with fleet safety certification preferred. The successful candidate will drive sales, provide DIY services, and maintain inventory accuracy while delivering excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

Must speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
Able to read safety rules and parts catalogs.
Basic math with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Willing to work days, evenings, and weekends.
2–3 years of retail sales experience preferred.
Good communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach sales targets.
Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
Maintain store product and operational standards.
Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
