Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help achieve sales and service objectives.

The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers. The position can be part-time or full-time, with responsibilities spanning customer service, DIY service delivery (battery installation, testing, wiper installs), and maintaining inventory standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and testing.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock.
