Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business with strong customer service and basic automotive knowledge. You will handle in-store and phone sales, source parts from stores, hubs, and suppliers, and maintain inventory standards.

The role can be part time or full time, with emphasis on safety and operating POS and inventory systems. Focus on building relationships, delivering DIY services, and achieving personal and store sales goals while working a varied schedule

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Fluent English; Spanish a plus; build relationships with customers and peers.
• Basic driving/navigation ability and safe operating practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking and back stock
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
