Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, part sourcing, inventory familiarity, and strong customer service. It can be part-time or full-time, with safety certifications preferred.

Responsibilities include assisting customers in-store and by phone, achieving sales goals, performing DIY services, and managing inventory processes while maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive and navigate.
• Ability to use the delivery board system.
• Friendly communication with customers and peers.
• Ability to locate and stock parts.
• Knowledge of inventory systems and store equipment.
• Proficiency with POS and parts lookup systems.
• Experience with testing/diagnostic equipment for DIY service.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Meet personal sales goals and help the store meet sales targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Keep store clean and organized; stock retail floors and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
