Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an Entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business. You will assist customers in-store and over the phone, providing basic automotive knowledge and parts sourcing.

The role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with a focus on delivering excellent service and maintaining inventory standards. The position requires basic math, strong communication, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with customers, peers and management.
• Basic math skills for transactions and point-of-sale accuracy.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
