Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY customer base with basic automotive knowledge, battery/wiper services, and in-store assistance. This entry-level role requires excellent customer interactions, inventory awareness, and the ability to work varied shifts including weekends.

The position can be part-time or full-time, with duties spanning sales, parts lookup, and ensuring store standards while following safety guidelines. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Entry level sales position supporting the DIY customer base.
• Basic automotive knowledge and familiarity with store systems.
• Ability to source from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers.
• Willingness to work part-time or full-time.
• Fleet safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its overall targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
