Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business, assist customers in-store and by phone, and help the store meet its sales goals.

The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and external suppliers. It can be part-time or full-time, with weekend availability and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to use store systems and parts lookup.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
