Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales/service objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, inventory skills, and the ability to source parts from multiple channels.

You will handle in-store and phone interactions, deliver DIY services, and maintain store standards and inventory accuracy. This position can be part time or full time and requires flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Must have basic automotive system and part knowledge.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
