Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business, with basic automotive knowledge and familiarity with store systems. This role can be part time or full time and involves battery installation, testing, wiper installs, and helping customers both in person and over the phone.

The position emphasizes customer service, inventory awareness, safety, and use of POS and parts lookup systems while meeting personal and store sales goals.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; communicate effectively with customers, peers and management
• Read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions
• Use basic math for transactions and inventory tasks
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries
• Achieve personal and store sales goals
• Deliver DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs
• Maintain store inventory and operational standards
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away and cycle counts
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
