Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to assist DIY customers in-store and over the phone, helping the store meet its sales targets while delivering essential DIY services and maintaining inventory accuracy. The role supports various shifts, including weekends, and requires basic automotive knowledge and friendly customer interactions.

The position can be part-time or full-time, with safety certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs.
• Use basic math for everyday transactions and measurements.
• Ability to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness and general stocking duties
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
