Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and help achieve store sales and service objectives. This entry-level, full- or part-time role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

Responsibilities include delivering excellent DIY customer service, driving personal sales, and performing maintenance tasks such as battery installation and wiper replacement.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to use basic math for transactions and inventory.
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals and parts catalogs; basic store procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and by phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and support store targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
