Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and help meet sales and service goals. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.

The position can be part time or full time and requires strong English communication, basic math, and reliable operation of POS and inventory systems.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic knowledge of store systems and automotive parts.
• Ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.
• Basic math and reading comprehension.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking and back stock
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
