Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to assist DIY customers, perform basic automotive services, and support store inventory and operations. You will work with the team to meet sales targets and provide excellent customer experiences both in-store and over the phone.

The role requires basic automotive knowledge, ability to source parts from various locations, and familiarity with store systems. Flexibility for a range of shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in person and by phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and contribute to store sales targets.
• Provide DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.).
• Maintain store product and operational standards; manage inventory processes and back stock.
