Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is hiring a Salesperson in Edgewood, MD. This role supports the DIY business, assists customers, and performs basic vehicle part knowledge and store operations.

You will source parts from stores, hubs, and external suppliers, manage inventory, and help with deliveries when needed. The position may be part-time or full-time, with potential weekend shifts and safety-focused responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Basic math and ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in store and by phone.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and assist with DIY services (battery installs, etc.).
• Maintain inventory accuracy and carry out truck put away, cycle counts, and backstock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed and keep store clean and stocked.
