Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Mount Airy, MD, is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales/service objectives. Candidates should have basic store systems knowledge, automotive part awareness, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

This role can be part-time or full-time and requires readiness to work a varied schedule. Responsibilities include delivering excellent DIY customer service, battery/wiper services, and maintaining inventory and store

Qualifications

Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
Basic knowledge of store systems, basic automotive system knowledge and basic part knowledge.
Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
Maintain store product and operational standards.
Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
Store Cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
