Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and help meet sales and service objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, store systems familiarity, and inventory know-how, with part-time or full-time options.

Fleet safety certification is preferred. Responsibilities include serving DIY customers in-store and by phone, achieving personal and store sales goals, and delivering DIY services like battery and wiper installations, while maintaining

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Use basic math for all units and measures.
• Work days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store Cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
