Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is hiring an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business. The role has good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive knowledge and the ability to source from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers.

You will deliver excellent customer service in-store and by phone while aiming to meet personal and store sales goals. This onsite role requires basic automotive knowledge and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts and willingness to learn more.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to use store systems, POS, and parts lookup tools.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach sales targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Assist with inventory processes: truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
• Support general store cleanliness and stocking.
