Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY customer experience with an emphasis on service and sales goals. The role handles basics of store systems, inventory and automotive parts knowledge, and can source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.

Part-time or full-time, with safety certification preferred. The position requires friendly communication, ability to work varied shifts, and capability to handle physical tasks such as stocking and lifting parts.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; bilingual a plus.
• Customer service experience in retail preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals.
• Comfort with basic math and daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store Cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking and back stock
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
