Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY team and help meet sales and service goals. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.

Primary duties include assisting customers in-store and over the phone, performing DIY services, and maintaining inventory and store standards. Flexibility for part-time or full-time schedules is expected.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a retail environment.
• English fluency; Spanish a plus.
• Availability for days, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
