Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business. The role involves store systems knowledge, basic automotive parts familiarity, and strong customer interaction.

You will assist customers in-store and over the phone, perform DIY services such as battery Installations and wiper changes, and help with inventory and store maintenance. The position can be part-time or full-time, with fleet safety certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus) and communicate effectively with customers.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs.
• Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units.
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
