Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. seeks a Salesperson to support the DIY business and help the store reach its sales and service goals.

You will provide excellent customer service in person and by phone, source parts from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of inventory and automotive parts. The role requires basic driving, strong communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to locate and stock parts using store systems.
• Basic automotive system knowledge and parts knowledge.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and over the phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help the store achieve its goals.
• Perform DIY services including basic installations such as battery testing and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards and assist with inventory processes.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
