Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business, assist customers, and help the store achieve its sales goals. You will use store systems and basic automotive knowledge to service customers both in person and by phone, including battery installations and related DIY services.

The role requires strong communication, inventory handling, and safe delivery of parts, with flexibility for part-time or full-time scheduling. Experience in retail sales is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with store systems and operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and by phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and support overall store targets.
• Offer DIY services including battery installation and wiper installations.
• Maintain inventory processes, order parts as needed, and ensure store standards.
• Safely deliver parts to customers and assist with general stocking tasks.
