Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY sales and parts lookup in-store and over the phone.

The role requires expert knowledge of automotive systems, proficiency with store systems, and a focus on achieving sales goals while delivering excellent customer service. The position involves handling DIY services such as battery installations and inspections, with responsibilities including open/close duties and inventory tasks.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Proven sales ability with past customer transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
