Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert parts knowledge and store systems. This full‑time role includes selling, assisting with battery installation, and maintaining service standards; top performers meet sales goals and contribute to store operations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in automotive parts, a valid driver's license, ASE certification (preferred), and proficiency with POS and inventory systems.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with customer transactions.
• Valid driver's license required; ASE certification preferred.
• Ability to operate POS and parts lookup systems; basic Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and testing.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Support inventory processes and store operations as needed.
