Job summary

Advance Auto Parts seeks a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert product knowledge and store systems proficiency. The role combines parts lookup, inventory awareness, and advanced service tasks such as battery installations and diagnostics, with a focus on delivering superior customer experiences.

The position is full-time, requiring 3–5 years in automotive parts, valid driver's license, ASE certification preferred, and the ability to work varied days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
