Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY functions with expert store systems knowledge and parts knowledge. The role includes sourcing from multiple channels and maintaining inventory accuracy. 3–5 years of automotive parts experience and ASE readiness are valued.

The position is full-time, with duties covering customer service excellence, POS use, and testing/diagnostic support for DIY services.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics.
• Speak and write English; communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
• Read and interpret safety rules and parts catalogs; write simple correspondence.
• Understand and follow written or oral instructions.
• Complete the Parts Knowledge Assessment.
• Use basic math with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
