Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY functions with expert knowledge of store systems, parts, and automotive diagnostics. The role involves identifying parts, sourcing from multiple channels, and maintaining inventory.

It is a full-time position located in-store and requires strong customer service and advanced product knowledge. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, strong sales ability, and ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with customer transactions.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and calls.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and testing.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Fulfill key holder duties: openings, closings and safety checks.
• Assist in inventory processes including counts and back stock.
• Keep the store clean, including floors, bathrooms and parking area.
• Provide DIY services such as wiper installs and testing.
