Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and expert parts knowledge in a full-time capacity. You will handle in-store and phone-based customer interactions, perform installations and tests, and maintain store standards with a focus on safety and accuracy.

The role requires experience with parts catalogs, strong English communication, and the ability to work varied shifts including weekends. ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience or equivalent sales background.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with customers, peers and management.
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and service instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and testing, wiper installations, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities: task assignment, safety, open/close duties.
• Assist in inventory processes and store cleanliness.
