Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver expert product knowledge and service for DIY customers. The role supports advanced store systems, part identification, and sourcing, including special orders and other channels, in a full-time capacity.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in auto parts with strong selling skills, reads safety instructions, and can work varied shifts. ASE preferred; bilingual abilities are a plus. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and parts catalogs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customers by phone and in store.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and testing, wiper installs.
• Open/close duties with safety and appearance standards.
• Assist in inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock.
