Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert parts knowledge and store systems proficiency. You will handle in-store and phone-based sales, assist with services, and maintain high store standards.

Preferred ASE certification and a valid driver’s license are advantageous. This role requires flexibility for varied shifts and weekend availability to meet store needs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience and proven sales ability.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
