Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert parts knowledge and in-store service. You will handle battery installations, diagnostic testing, and wiper installations, while ensuring store standards and safety procedures are followed.

The role requires 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, strong sales skills, and a valid driver's license. ASE certification is preferred, and flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with past customer transactions.
• Valid driver's license.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Flexible to work days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
