Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is hiring a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY sales with expert knowledge of store systems and automotive parts. The role handles battery installs, testing and wiper services, while meeting sales targets and maintaining store standards.

The position requires 3–5 years of parts experience, ASE certification preferred, and the ability to work a schedule including evenings and weekends. Valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience and proven sales ability.
• ASE certification preferred; valid driver's license required.
• Ability to read safety rules, parts catalogs and manuals.
• Fluent English; Spanish is a plus; strong communication skills.
• Willingness to work a schedule including days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and calls.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Fulfill key holder duties: task assignment, safety, open/close duties.
• Assist in inventory processes: truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Maintain store cleanliness and greet customers professionally.
• Operate POS and Parts lookup systems; source parts from multiple channels.
