Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Lorain, OH is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert product knowledge and advanced store systems proficiency. You will assist with battery installations, wiper services, parts lookup, and inventory tasks while delivering friendly, growth-oriented service.

The role requires 3–5 years in automotive parts, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills; ASE certification is a plus. Flexibility for days, evenings, and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Fluent English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customers.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Assist in store inventory processes and cycle counts.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety.
• Key holder responsibilities (opening/closing duties).
