Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in West Columbia, SC is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY sales with expert parts knowledge and store systems expertise. You will assist customers in-store and by phone, perform DIY services, and help with inventory while upholding safety and service standards.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in automotive parts, strong communication skills, and the ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and procedure manuals. ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Successfully complete Parts Knowledge Assessment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customers in-store and by phone.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Assist in inventory and keep store appearance to high standards.
• Perform key holder duties including safety, opening/closing tasks.
