Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced functions of the DIY business. The role requires expert knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and customer service.

The position is full time and involves working with a variety of parts sourcing options and inventory processes. The candidate should have 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, be ASE certified or ASE ready, and able to provide high-quality service and product recommendations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic ability.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs, and procedures.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Willingness to work on a variety of days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock).
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
